Natural henna is a plant-based paste made from the leaves of the henna plant. Zabardust Henna uses fresh, handcrafted henna. We never use black henna or products containing harmful dyes.

Henna begins drying within 15–30 minutes. For the darkest stain, leave the paste on for 4–8 hours or overnight when possible.

Natural henna typically lasts 1–3 weeks, depending on your skin type, placement, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Your stain will start as a bright orange and naturally deepen into a rich reddish-brown over the next 24–48 hours.

Keep the paste on as long as possible, avoid water for the first 24 hours, and follow the aftercare instructions provided during your appointment.

Avoid swimming, long showers, hot tubs, and excessive water exposure for the first 24 hours. The less water your fresh stain encounters, the longer it will last.

Natural henna is generally safe for most people. If you have eczema, sensitive skin, or known allergies to plants or natural ingredients, please let us know before your appointment. A small test patch is available upon request.
